Taking on Sonny and Cher’s classic “I Got You Babe,” the coach and contestant shared undeniable chemistry onstage. Their voices blended smoothly, and their playful energy matched the mood of the song perfectly.

They swayed in rhythm with the band, stealing glances and smiling through each lyric, making the performance feel both heartfelt and fun. But mid-performance, just as Bublé reached verse three with the line “I got flowers in the spring, I got you to wear my ring,” he appeared momentarily unsure of the lyrics.

Without missing a beat, Cree stepped in right on cue with “And when I’m sad, you’re a clown…” The two quickly found their groove again and wrapped up the song in perfect synchronicity.

As they stood center stage, hands raised triumphantly, the crowd erupted in applause and cheers. However, while the duo’s rapport left many charmed, a conversation was already underway online. Some fans questioned Michael Bublé’s behavior, while others praised Cree’s composure for keeping the performance on track.

One viewer wondered, “I don’t know what’s up with Michael tonight, but Jadyn sounded better than him on that. lol.” Another person questioned the vibe of the performance, “Was something going on with him? he was acting strange.”

A concerned fan chimed in with, “Is Michael okay? 🤔 He Did Not Seem Right when performing tonight 😅.” Meanwhile, someone offered a lighthearted take, “He is just very goofy and handsy.” Not everyone was impressed, with one person bluntly stating, “Michael came close to ruining the performance. She was adorable.”

Still, others were completely charmed. One fan gushed, “This was an excellent song choice for them. Sonny & Cher. So adorable, and they sound really good. I was smiling ear to ear.” The duo’s chemistry hit the mark for many, as one comment read, “They are so much fun to watch❤️.”

Another fan praised their teamwork, “Loved it. They were having fun and Jadyn had Michael when he forgot the words👍👍👍.” Pride beamed through in one message, “I loved it. They were so cute together. Well done Jadyn Cree Olesen. In the Top 5 and made NE proud”. And the joy was infectious, with one fan simply declaring, “The performance was super fun!! Loved it!!🎶💜🎶💜🎶.”

In the end, “The Voice” finale wrapped up with exciting results. Cree of Team Bublé finished in fifth place, followed by Lucia Flores-Wiseman from Team Adam in fourth. Renzo, representing Team Legend, secured third place, while Jaelen Johnston of Team Kelsea came in second. The night’s big win went to Adam David from Team Bublé, who was crowned the season’s champion.

Of all five finalists, Cree faced the most backlash. After “The Voice” announced its final five contestants on May 12, controversy quickly began to swirl around her. Many fans questioned her vocal abilities and speculated that her advancement in the competition was tied to outside connections, particularly her father, Bryan Olesen.

“Jadyn doesn’t deserve to win… too many way better singers than her on there!” one viewer vented online. “If she wins I’m done with The Voice cuz it will show me it’s rigged cuz of her daddy!!”

Another echoed the concern, “I am convinced that Jadyn and her dad have a connection within the show’s production bc he also went way further than he should of on his season. I’m so unreasonable angry about this lol [sic].”

Someone else seconded, “That’s what my house was saying too. We’re also feeling like it was rigged.” Discontent didn’t stop there. A particularly harsh critic remarked, “Jadyn is the worst singer to ever make it to the finale in 27 seasons.”

Others voiced frustration over the mechanics of the competition itself, arguing that the voting system felt restrictive. “It’s useless to have the save votes if we can’t change the team. Unfair,” one viewer wrote. Despite the outcry, Cree’s fans defended her presence in the finale, praising her unique style and charisma.

“Omg! I think she will win this competition!” one supporter posted. Another added, “I’m not caring too much for anyone on the show this year except for Jadyn. She’s a breath of fresh air and the only reason I care to even watch.”

Although Cree didn’t take home the win as many of her supporters had hoped, she ended her journey on a high note — delivering a standout performance in the finale and proving she deserved her spot among the final five.
