“I will likely talk about this for the rest of my life.”
Kat Timpf isn’t backing down and she’s making it clear that surviving cancer, becoming a mom, and telling her story unapologetically is her right.
A Troll Tries It — and Kat Shuts It Down
On Friday, June 27, the Gutfeld! star took to Instagram Stories to share a biting message from a critic who accused her of being “egocentric” for openly discussing her breast cancer experience.
“Sorry Kat, but you are not all that and a bag of chips,” the message read. “Using it all the time is getting very old… Don’t be so egocentric.”
Kat’s response? Calm. Clear. Unfiltered.
“PSA: I will likely talk about this for the rest of my life as that is how long it will affect me. Making jokes heals me and I won’t stop doing it. If it offends you that badly, feel free to unfollow me.”
Still Kat, Still Unfiltered
The clapback comes just days after Timpf’s triumphant return to Gutfeld! on June 16, where she received a standing ovation from the audience and opened up, in true Kat fashion, with brutal honesty and a joke.
“I cut my tits off,” she said bluntly. “I’m boob-free and cancer-free. They got everything.”
The crowd roared. It was the first time viewers had seen Timpf since her maternity leave and her double mastectomy in March, just weeks after giving birth to her son.

“Now You’re Not the Only Double Amputee on the Show”
Timpf’s fearless approach to cancer has gone hand-in-hand with her humor — especially on-air. On the June 21 episode of Gutfeld!, co-host Johnny Joey Jones joked that she had “taken the sympathy card” from him as a fellow double amputee.
Kat’s lightning-fast reply?
“Well, yeah! Now you’re not the only double amputee on the show.”
She later posted the exchange with pride, calling it:
“Pretty sure this is my funniest joke ever of all time.”
A Journey That’s Far From Over
Kat’s diagnosis,stage-zero breast cancer, came on February 25, just one day after becoming a mom. Within weeks, she opted for a double mastectomy. She’s been open about the emotional and physical toll, but even more committed to owning her choices.
“It was a tough thing to go through,” she admitted, “but an easy decision. I didn’t want to risk my life over a couple of 32As.”
Fans Are With Her
For every troll, there are thousands cheering her on. Timpf’s willingness to talk, joke, and heal publicly has struck a chord with viewers who appreciate her rawness and her ability to laugh even in the darkest moments.
Because in the end, Kat’s message is simple:
She’s not telling her story for sympathy.
She’s telling it because it’s hers.
